Volunteer Orientation at Purdue for Life

At Purdue for Life, our volunteers are the heart of everything we do. Whether you’re connecting with alumni, supporting campus events, or sharing your Boilermaker spirit in the community, your time and dedication make a lasting impact on Purdue University and its global network.

To ensure every volunteer has the tools, knowledge, and confidence to represent Purdue for Life with excellence, all volunteers are required to complete our Volunteer Orientation and Training before participating in any activities. This orientation provides an overview of our mission, values, and programs, along with important guidelines for communication, event conduct, and safety.

Volunteers will also receive access to the Purdue for Life Volunteer Manual, a comprehensive resource that outlines expectations, best practices, and helpful information to support your role. By completing the orientation and reviewing the manual, you’ll be prepared to make the most of your volunteer experience—helping us create meaningful connections and lifelong memories across the Purdue community.
