OUR PURPOSE:

Founded on the idea that being a Boilermaker means more than earning a degree, we’re committed to creating a network of lifelong engagement—where you can connect, learn, and give back. As part of that mission, our Volunteerism program harnesses the energy and expertise of our vibrant community to support students, strengthen alumni initiatives, and elevate Purdue’s legacy of service. 

WHAT WE DO:

Our volunteer opportunities span many areas—designed to fit your interests, your schedule, and your stage of life. Some ways you can engage:

• Mentor or advise — Share your professional experience or life lessons with students or alumni eager for guidance.

• Share your expertise — Lead workshops, participate in panels, or present at events to support development and connection across our network. 

• Engage with clubs, networks, and boards — Whether you serve on an alumni board, help plan events for a club, or lead a regional network, you’ll be driving real engagement.

• Give back in practical ways — From offering event space to donating items for scholarships, your contributions help create opportunities for current students and fellow alumni.
